The Davis Live Music Collective is proud to present Titus Andronicus with special guests La Sera Wednesday, May 25th, 8pm at Odd Fellows Hall in Davis. Tickets are available online or at Armadillo Music in Davis.
The fiercely independent Titus Andronicus play punk-inflected indie rock with influences ranging from The Hold Steady, The Pixies, Bright Eyes and Bruce Springsteen. Their debut full-length, The Airing of Grievances was released in 2008 to great promise, which was quickly exceeded by 2010’s The Monitor, which earned them a mention in Rolling Stone as one of the seven best new bands of 2010.
They will be landing in Davis a night after headlining The Fillmore in San Francisco in support of last year’s outstanding triple LP, The Most Lamentable Tragedy, an ambitious punk-rock opera in five acts
Program opener La Sera is the new project of Katy Goodman (Vivian Girls) and Todd Wisenbaker. Their 2016 debut Music for Listening to Music To, was produced by indie icon and collaborator Ryan Adams.
