Rin Tin Tiger

A great big thanks to rising stars and San Francisco favorites Rin Tin Tiger for a great show! And thanks, too, are due to Lauren Cole Norton and the rest of the Third Space Theory crew for teaming up with DLMC to bring a terrific night of music to town.

Some of you may recall how San Francisco’s Rin Tin Tiger packed Little Prague to its bouncing seams at this year’s Davis Music Fest. They’ve since gone on to play a sell out show at the Great American Music Hall, and released their “damn-near perfect album” Splinter Remedies to impressive reviews.

They had so much fun in Davis they came back, and they brought down the house with their energetic, “incomparable and unique” alt-folk chops.

Sacramento indie-rockers Desario (also DMF3 alums) were booked to open, but a nasty cold took its toll and they were unable to make the show. While we would have loved to bring them here, we were lucky to have TWO acts from Seattle – Glitterbang and Double Duchess – signed on to start the party.

As always, a DLMC show relies on its members to make the magic, and this one was no different. Thanks to everyone who came out, worked the door, carried (or loaned) a drum, and spread the word. Thanks to the folks at G Street Wunderbar – especially Karl – and Third Space Theory – especially Lauren – for hosting. And a huge thanks to the performers… Nicki, JV, DavO, Kylon, Kevin, Sean and Andrew… you are welcome back anytime.

And thanks Sara for putting it together. Didn’t forget you.
